Such information is useful for Christians, and others, in learning about Mormons and Mormonism. However, to approach Mormons with such information usually results in arguing and defensiveness. We recommend apologetics be used sparingly, tactfully, and very kindly with Mormons - and only as the Holy Spirit guides, never in an attempt to win an arguement, or "reason" someone into the Christian faith.

ICARE Ministries recommends a balanced approach that helps Mormons come to grips with their most common hindrance to salvation: their belief in the innate goodness of mankind, and their second most common hindrance: that they can perform "good works" for salvation.
