Twenty Similarities between Mormonism and Roman Catholicism
1. Both have multiple authorities, the “final” authority being the supreme ecclesiastical ruler
2. Both have extra-biblical revelation that does not harmonize with scripture
3. Both claim to be the one, true Church of Jesus Christ

5. Both believe in “second chance” for salvation after death
6. Both have an unscriptural priesthood

8. Both have the acquisition of wealth and power as their primary aim
9. Both believe in heavenly queens
10. Both place the writings of past “saints” above scripture
11. Both deny undeniable history that reveals their errors
12. Both claim authority over the consciences of their members
13. Both believe that works are necessary for salvation
14. Both believe that only a certain few have the right and authority to interpret scripture
15. Both believe that only through their church can one obtain salvation
16. Both have mysterious, unscriptural ceremonies
17. Both have multiple, written authoritative documents that contradict scripture
18. Both have supposed leaders who are infallible in their teachings even when contradicting scripture
19. Both do not believe in individual soul liberty
20. Both believe that new doctrine and practices can be declared through its highest clergy
even though it contradicts old doctrines and practices
Satan, the great deceiver and adversary, leaves his "fingerprints" wherever he goes. His fingerprints are all over the crime scenes of Mormonism and Roman Catholicism. Both are pseudo-Christian cults.
